Looking for a battery powered RF only add on switch. Have not found it yet.

A SmartThings hub is pretty turnkey. Used one until I got round to doing
my own thing with Home Assistant.

There's z-wave remote controls out there you should be able to tie in.
Never used a remote personally though.
