Every place has their favorite local beer.
I ordered a Sam Adams once in San Francisco. Got a dirty look. But also one time in Edmonton, Alberta I asked for a local beer and they brought me a Budweiser, I thought it was insult because I was from the US, but it turns out there was a Budweiser brewery in town. I should have just ordered a Blue. But I’m not that fond of beer. No Supreme Court seat for me. Does root beer count? But tonight I will drink a Tecate in your honor... cheers On Mon, Aug 26, 2019, 10:20 AM Adam Moffett <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: I'm not sure why you're so gung ho for that Tecate. For a nice beer my current favorite is the Royal Kilt Inspector Scotch Ale from Geneva, NY: https://www.shopthreebros.com/products/war-horse-royal-kilt-inspector-scotch-ale-4-pack Or maybe an Ommegang Rare Vos from Cooperstown, NY: https://www.ommegang.com/beerinfo/three-philosophers/ For a cheap beer I'll take a Genny Cream Ale. That's a good beer for trimming the hedges and mowing the lawn. https://www.originalcreamale.com/ For a middle of the road beer I'll take a Yuengling. Ale, Lager, Porter....any variety from Yuengling is drinkable. Tecate is "meh". Come to NY sometime and I'll get you educated. -Adam On 8/24/2019 7:45 PM, Jaime Solorza wrote: Take two Tecates and call me in the morning...lol On Sat, Aug 24, 2019, 5:44 PM Chuck McCown <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: I think it is helping.
