That isn't the sub, it is the headend.  Street price currently seems to be 
about ∞ if you need them right now.
If these are ever not vaporware it would open some amazing possibilities.  
Imagine a Siklu 10Gig ring with one or two of these hanging off of each one to 
feed a passive plant in a MDU.  (never mind the extra special gland you would 
need...)

Thanks so much for simple explanation Jim, please let all the salesmen in the 
OLT world know this is what is happening, they can’t explain the black magic 
(without a powerpoint showing a cloud shape).

Thanks Gino for the link, apparently I’m not the only one who’s thinking about 
this. I wonder what the street price is for this, sounds expensive still per 
sub.
