LOL well I've crapped on Ubiquiti plenty of times, but I still end up
using them in the right scenario.
If it's 6db better than AirMax then that's something.

You ever use UBNT before? Its as likely as a cat is likely to leave a

So am I understanding correctly that you can now run PTMP on an
AirFiber
5XHD?
Ubiquiti's online Airlink tool is telling me that this equipment gets
256QAM with 6db weaker signal than the AirMax products.
In the Airlink tool I plop in a Rocket Prism AC with +30 EIRP and
drag
the subscriber out to 0.9 miles and he's got 256QAM and a -58
RSSI. I
switch the equipment to LTU with same size antennas, same Tx
power, and
same channel size; and I can drag the subscriber out to about 2 miles
with a -65 and he's still got 256QAM.
How likely is that to happen in real life? Anybody already tried
this stuff?
