On one of them I had to move the dish around on the roof of the building
until I found a spot where it was shielded from the noise by the
elevator penthouse, but just peek around enough to see our other end.

This is now the 3rd licensed link that we have had affected by noise in the
last year. And yes, we do have path protection.
My Theory, just because I don't like them, is that the HFT guys don't bother to
aim properly, or actually Install at the Coords on their PCN.
