Cogent launched a new peering product. Apparently no port fees, 10c per Mbps, available in all locations where Cogent is.

Pros: No port fees, reasonable traffic fees, widely available, peers do not have to be located at the same facility
Cons: Cogent, few peers so far, no details on the underlying transport network
Mike, I see Midwest IX is a participant. Want to chime in with any experiences?
