If you're ever feeling down, go get 10lbs pork fat, pack 5lbs in salt to
cure for a couple days. slow render the other 5lbs to lard. Save some of
store 3/4 of the lard for a butter substitute and to cook skirt steak in.
Use the other 1/4 to fry the renderings into cracklins.  Then slice the
cured fat and eat like bacon. Do all this over 4 days.
You'll feel like a boss
