Not unistrut. I would have to see if I can get some typical dimensions. There
are different manufacturers, the leg in my photo was Sukup. We’re talking
something like 2x2 inches outside but that’s just a guess.

OK, are we talking standard unistrut sizes? I could put a thick wall tube
section to go inside the unistrut to clamp on the back wall.

Yep, something like that. Back half a flat, front also flat with some kind of
projection or insert that goes inside the U or L for the back to clamp against.
When I say “front” and “back”, ideally it could go either way for mounting the
pipe inside or outside the platform. Also the option to have the pipe mount 90
degrees to the way an MTOW works now, for use on horizontal members and
handrails.

I am not mechanically inclined, or I would sketch something. Maybe just an
MTOW with flat instead of C clamp halves, with a 90* variant. Then some sort
of insert, basically a galvanized block, that would go inside the U or L while
locking onto the MTOW so it doesn’t move around. Maybe a detent, or mill a
channel into the block just the right size for the MTOW clamp half to fit into.

I guess instead of a 0* and 90* variant, you could make the base square with 4
holes so it could go either way, and with it being flat, it might have other
uses, like as a wall mount? In that case, maybe the “insert” could lock onto
the other 2 holes somehow? Or even be adjustable kind of like a beam clamp?
The back clamp half could still be a flat version of the regular MTOW one, or
also square, in which case it could serve as a backing plate if used with
all-thread for wall mounting on concrete block. (Hey, put in a couple grooves
for band clamps and you have a utility pole mount!)

Sorry, it is not false modesty when I say I am not mechanically inclined, the
guys get scared if they see me with holding a power tool.

So, would you have to have a t shaped part to go inside and clamp against the
back side?

Note these are formed heavy sheet metal and you can’t just crank a clamp made
for a round pipe down on them.

Yes! that could be very useful.

How about MTOW or pipe-to-pipe-clamp variants to attach to the L and U
channels we find on some grain legs, both vertical and horizontal, could also
be used to attach pipes to various handrails.

Wisp boxes. I like that. Built in DIN.

I know you do injection molding for your antennas, have you ever thought

Just some ideas to throw around...

Thanks, wish I could take total credit. The quality of the hot dip
galvanize job is a bit out of our hands. The amount of dross on the pot,
temperature of the day, mix of zinc and other things as well as freshness of
the pickling tank and pickling time all go into the quality of the
galvanization and we farm that out to a local company. We have been working on
the fit and inspection.

I appreciate the note, we do try. And we are always up for making other
hot dipped tower products. Anyone want us to add to the product line, let me
know and I will see if I can improve on the price or performance on any other
product out in the world. I prefer to do custom stuff nobody else does, but I
am not above knocking off something if I can offer something in the way of
design improvement or cost reduction.

Props to WB for improving their MTOWs. Most notably the cleaner
galvanizing and the hardware fitting together perfectly. Not a huge difference
since these products have already been great, but the quality bonus is
noticeable and appreciated!
