It's worth 'playing' if you pay the card off every month. Barclay 2x card is decent and gives 2 times the points and you get a bonus 40,000 ($400) of top of head. Another card does 1.5x for everything and no annual charge. Points accrue online and after you buy any airline or hotel, you 'credit' yourself online. Pick what card makes the most sense for you.
