Regarding bandwidth, I saw an article about a feature called WUDO that uses P2P
and therefore could consume your upstream bandwidth. Enabled by default on
home version unless it somehow detects that you are on a metered connection.

I haven’t noticed increased upstream usage, but with my customer base, they
will probably get Windows 10 only if they buy a new computer.

Yesterday I stopped in a Best Buy store which I haven’t done in quite awhile,
and they had a whole area of the store set up as a Windows store-within-a-store
with lots of signs and displays, as if this was the new product of the century.
Main thing that impressed me though was Best Buy is not long for this world.
Lots of space, not much product, not many shoppers. I also got the impression
that people don’t buy many WiFi routers anymore, they expect their ISP to
provide it as part of the “modem”.

Windows 10 update worked flawless for me. No problems with drivers or any
other NVIDIA issues. I just download the 64 bit tool on release day.

Download the 32 or 64 bit tool here:

If that doesn't work use one of the news articles from Google searching

You can always just force download it now if you want. It took me like 10
minutes to download yesterday evening.

We saw significant increase Tuesday night and last night too. I am sure
throughout the day too. But I only look at the peaks.

Was asking in the office, are we sure we have all the Ap's doing rate
limiting.

But after I saw the windows 10 release. It made sense.

Slight increase but nothing really noticeable .. it sounds like it
has been fairly staggered in delivery just based on my own personal PC’s and
when they popped up with the notice. The update is quite reasonable in size
too which helps ….

I must say though .. so far, I really like Windows 10 compared to 8.1

Anybody seeing significantly increased bandwidth since yesterday, due
to folks downloading Windows 10 on release day?
