Or... just send it to PDMnet. I sent one with a bad data port PHY or something deeper and it couldn't be fixed though, but now UBNT is doing the refurb thing so it's all good. Which reminds me that I have too much shit to do and forgot to send it in.. again.

For an bad ethernet jack, just take it apart and find a new jack using the part number and buy a $70 smd rework station and flow a new one on in 5 minutes or less?

No, it is flat fee. Some may not be able to be repaired
(lighting, etc...). I believe cost is $400, but you can
confirm with support. There may be others out there that
will do for less (for smaller repairs), so you could
            definitely look around.

            Thanks,

So is the pricing dependent on what is wrong? Like a
bad RJ45 port with no other issues would be less than
say the RF is Fried, or took a lightening strike?

I would contact support to get details, but
basically you are not getting back your same unit. You get a refurbished unit and then your unit is
repaired and put back in refurbished stock (there
may be more to it than this...but this is basics ;)).

So you decided to do it! Can you share the

Go ahead and contact support and they will
get you details on getting refurbished unit
                        going.

                        Thanks,

Anybody doing AF24 Repairs? I have
                                an AF24 where an RJ45 didn't get
crimped right and buggered up the
jack on the radio. It seems like on
a $1500 radio, this would be worth
                                repairing. Anybody doing these? The
radio was working fine until the bad
crimp was plugged in, now it won't
make good contact with the pins anymore.
