Is that too close to the tower for a dish or is that just the nature
of wireless?
Neither. Gain is gain. If the dish gives you 10db then it gives you
10db. Maybe something is goofy with that unit or maybe that dish is
bent out of whack.
As David mentioned, if you're reading the signal from the AP, it could
be ATPC turning down the SM tx power.
