Ok...now I'm going to backpedal. RSSI is the sum of the power of all
the OFDM subcarriers. I suppose if something is preventing you from
receiving all of the subcarriers then your RSSI would look low...I still
feel like the dish would add the same amount of gain in that case though.
Does anyone know if 802.11n will function normally while receiving only
some subcarriers? 802.16 won't, but LTE will. What about Canopy?
