My 2c:
Leveling the mast might be an interesting feature, but I've never really
wished for it.
Where I saw a hole in the market was in a hinged mount that could accept
variable mast sizes without costing too much.
There are cheap ones for $70 that only accept a satellite dish mount.
There are $600 ones from Rohn et al that accept different mast
diameters. The cheap ones are no good for me, and the other ones are
offensively expensive. I was unaware of the Baltic Networks / Maxxwave
model before I read this thread, and that looks to come in around $150.
I have to put a 2' Trango dish on a hinged mount in the near future, and
I'll probably end up getting that Maxxwave model if I can confirm that
it will accept a mast > 2" OD. I wish it was HDG instead of powder
coated, but beggars can't be choosers. I also question that slider
thing for adjusting the angle of the mast, but I can always put more
bolts in it if it doesn't seem solid.
Honestly, now that I've seen the Maxxwave one, I'm not sure what new
thing you can bring to bear.
Yeah, that is always a problem. The more assembly you do during
fabrication, the more it costs to ship, the larger the packing crate
is, the more expensive packing is etc etc.

Anything you can do to speed assembly but still take up less space. I
never liked how long they took to put together.

I get constantly asked to do a non penetrating mount. I have
always resisted because there are a ton of them out there
already. But I get almost daily searches for this term on my
website. It appears folks presume I have one.
If I did one, I would like to have some feature or quality that
differentiates it from the rest. Perhaps a unit that can be
locked or hinged for flat or peak mounts.
Maybe one with hinged legs that give it a wider footprint using
greater leverage so you don’t need as many concrete blocks.
I dunno, any ideas?
