Yes. What am I checking for?
Transparent bridging?

Can you access the station now and see how it's configured?

FYI, i had to go back to firmware 5.5.10 but that apparently resolved the
problem. The station IP is showing up correctly now and we're checking with
the customer to verify.

one access point and turn on the other...

sounds to me like transparent bridging isn't working right on the
client... there may be something different with how it's handled on the newer
firmware. Did you try switching the AP to access point and enabling
WDS/transparent bridge instead of using AP-Repeater?

IP Alias just creates a 169.254.x.y where x.y is based on the MAC
address.

as many of you know, we've been going to 5.6.3
today we got a call from a customer who reported she is down.
investigating, we discovered she is on a 900 mhz ubnt access
point setup as an ap-repeater.
This problem started after the firmware upgrade so we are
assuming it's firmware related or perhaps
something is treated differently in 5.6.3 (for example, we
also had to update all of our oid's for graphing purposes) :)

                  suggestions?

we noticed no "transparent bridge" mode on an ap repeater,
and we also noticed the station is showing connected, but it is showing the IP
address of the customer's bridged router ; NOT the ip address of the radio.

I have also tried checking the "auto" box briefly ; it did
not change access to the radio.

I can not access the radio although it shows connected.
