I never quite understood why they didn’t make all the ports on the 2011 GigE.  
It’s not that they typically all have to be GigE, it’s just an administrative 
hassle.  It’s kind of annoying to have to risk firmware problems on a new CPU 
type just to get that, if you don’t need the added processor power.  And as a 
business customer demarc, the desktop case with or without WiFi is popular.  
Not sure what they are thinking.
