Not sure what you mean by isolated, is that in response to Brian’s post? He is saying there are a ton of frequencies and 3 channel widths in the Radio tab on the SM, and if you have it scan all of those, you might be waiting over a minute for it to evaluate all of them and pick the best.
Also, are you sure when you say 8x / 1x that you mean 8x down and 1x up? I am guessing you mean 8x enabled but operating at 1x, which would be very poor. But also with 450, you may need to force some traffic over the link (or do a link test) for it to jump up to whatever modulation it is capable of. If you are new to 450, you should download the user guide from the Cambium website and go through it. It is very long and thorough, you will probably find a lot of the information you need there to install, configure, and troubleshoot the radios. Like for example tone alignment.
