Not sure what you mean by isolated, is that in response to Brian’s post? He is
saying there are a ton of frequencies and 3 channel widths in the Radio tab on
the SM, and if you have it scan all of those, you might be waiting over a
minute for it to evaluate all of them and pick the best.

Also, are you sure when you say 8x / 1x that you mean 8x down and 1x up? I am
guessing you mean 8x enabled but operating at 1x, which would be very poor.
But also with 450, you may need to force some traffic over the link (or do a
link test) for it to jump up to whatever modulation it is capable of.

If you are new to 450, you should download the user guide from the Cambium
website and go through it. It is very long and thorough, you will probably
find a lot of the information you need there to install, configure, and
troubleshoot the radios. Like for example tone alignment.

If you have all frequencies checked and all channel sizes checked, it can be a
long wait between re-registration attempts.

Also notice on the sm there is external gain do I leave that at 0?

  Is that the problem?

Totally. Audio alignment is the best (and easiest IMO) way to align a Canopy
SM.

Is the SM dished? You are aware that the dish is an offset parabola (dish
will be pointed down)? At 1 mile a dished SM should be screaming on audio
alignment.

        Signals on each side?

8x down 1x up? Could be an uplink path issue or heavy interference at
the AP side. Have you changed frequencies? Spectrum analysis? Is this the
first SM on the AP?
