Probably never. If you have competition then HELL no. I would strongly advise you look at your contracts to see if you can do that without getting sued. Look at it this way. You can a) spend $5k/mo on repairs or b) spend $15k once to prevent the monthly repair bills. So, my V.P. asked if the “crowd” (you guys) has ever done any “special assessment” to customers (one time additional fee) as a contribution towards better reliability. Not sure how that will be received, but it’s an interesting concept and every little bit would help against the big bill. Anybody done something like this, involving existing customers.
