false Fast food is more convenient, not cheaper in the long run. people are fat, because they are lazy for the most part, they choose convenience over health, its a fair trade. Being "poor" would actually gain you access to better staple foods at a discounted/free rate. There has been too blurred a line created between convenience and necessity. That whole argument only proves further in the US those who live in "poverty" have no idea what poverty actually is. Alot of the folks on this list have been on mission trips and have seen what poverty looks like, and fat is not what poverty looks like
