He said it works with the SS removed from the path, so I would assume he
has everything configured properly.
I imagine that Cambium implemented the same functionality into the 450i
that they did with the 450 AP. If it doesn't see data on all four pairs,
then it drops back to 10/100 auto after a few seconds.

I have gigabit running through lots of them and they work fine.
But now that I think about it, those are only AirFiber's and
licensed radios. No 450 APs doing GigE + sync-over-power yet.
