I have a 2009 macbook pro that has sat in my kitchen everyday for 7 years, use 
it everyday and never once did I need to remove whats it called "spyware".  
That says a lot.

I still have almost all my old Macs. A PowerBook 540c, Quadra 610, 605, and 
even a PowerComputing tower. But I regret that my Ti PowerBook is not among the 
collection.
