Okay. The following vendors have scraped my address from the AFMUG
mailing list and sent me multiple spam emails in 2016:
- ISP Supplies / Steve Discher / ispsupplies.net
- Winncom / winncom.com
- Link Technologies / linktechs.net
I would respectfully call on these vendors to not just remove my address
and never spam me again, but to remove ALL email addresses scraped from
mailing lists and all other sources. I ask them to commit to
responsible, non-spam email marketing in the future.
P.S. clarifying because many people seem to be conflating different
things. My query was not about sending advertisements _to the list_. I
am speaking about vendors who scrape email addresses _from the list_ and
then spam them.
