1) The constitution says guvmnt is not sposed to interfere with churches and religions. (Founded on religious freedom) or 2) The constitution infers that Churches and religion are supposed to steer clear of all things public and politic. I am of the former ilk. Not too many inbetweeners on this issue in my opinion.
