OK, you were right. I power cycled master and slave together and so far
everything is back to normal. Also while I was there I verified 450i could be
powered directly with port type G.

I don’t know if there was a less disruptive way than taking down 11 APs. At
least I will be putting one of the CyberPower remote ATS/switched PDUs there so
I can do this remotely in the middle of the night next time. I used to enjoy
working out at a remote tower site at 3am under the stars, but I’m getting too
old for that nonsense.

Just resetting the GUI doesn’t seem to resolve the problem I was experiencing.

Need to reboot the CTM-2 and slave. They seem to randomly lock up like that
every now and then.

That’s good news, those dongles were messy and one more connection to fail.

Now if I could just figure out the communication problems I’ve started having
between a CTM-2 Master and Slave. Power readings of “NaN”, not able to
see/change slave port types, etc.

Yes type G will power a 450i and also a 450m however we've found that a CTM2
has a hard time powering more than 1 or 2 450m's because of the high watt
useage of the 450m

Is anyone using a CTM-2 and power port sync with a 450i AP? I was reading the
CTM-2 firmware release notes, and it sounds like they added a Port Type G
that’s the same as Type B but with the pin swap to eliminate the need for the
external pin swapping cables. (Basically undoing the pin swap that was
introduced for 430 APs.)

I swapped out a bunch of 430 APs for 450i, using the Cambium pin swapping
cables. It would be nice to get rid of them and connect direct, if I am
reading this correctly.
