Naturally.

My thought was if the bridge table entries have a long timeout and smart phones are coming and going from the wifi AP regularly, then it's conceivable you could have seen 1000 MAC addresses, and 999 of them are not actually present. Then device number 1001 can't connect. Yes it's avoidable of course.

If you're briding 1000 MACs onto a single flat topology layer 2 LAN fabric at a single geographic location, something has gone terrible wrong with your network design.

I just noticed the Planet only bridges 1000 MAC addresses. If you're connecting to WiFi AP's, people walking by on the street might have their phones connecting and disconnecting. Could be an issue depending on if/when the 1,000 entries timeout.

Those both look perfect! Even better than I was hoping.

I'm going to try the Planet one since it's cheaper+I know the name.

I'm looking for something I believe was discussed here multiple times. I have old copper going between a few stories in the building and I need to get bandwidth up there. Isn't there some box that people have used that will run with 2 wire or any kind of wire essentially and then you have 100baseT?
