That's a very colorful metaphor.
LTE might help with tree issues, but it comes with a lot of baggage. If
there's a PTP product that simplifies the situation I might actually be
interested too.

You can masterbate, or you can screw a chicken. Just because you mave
the chicken in your hand when you screw it doesnt mean youre
masterbating.
In other words use equipment as its intended

I don’t understand why LTE wouldn’t be “suited”. Assuming no noise,

I’m trying to get at least 200Mbps and we are testing both a Prism
AC2 and an AirFiber 2x. 900MHz is last resort due to its bandwidth
limitations but it’s on the table depending on how this test goes.
Budget is also not the problem on this project, just performance.

Yeah... LTE isn't particularly well suited to PTP. I guess you could
make it work, but it's going to be a little messy. Baicells would
probably be the only realistic option, since you wouldn't want to be
dealing with an actual LTE core. If you want to try using 3.65ghz,
airfiber is probably the best option, but if there's a low noise
floor, 2.4ghz is going to work better. 900mhz could also be an option
if noise isn't too bad.

I’ve got a remote link, 5 miles, with about ½ mile of trees. I’m
going to test 2.4GHz tomorrow but am interested in some of the LTE
products that might be out there.
