Exactly.

Most humans want to stay alive (and eat, mate, and build homes etc, which leads
to more survival), and they know they can't live past 100 (else they would).
Most humans don't attempt living past 100 however, because it's a technical
field; AGI, stem cells, etc, it's not predictable by most, it's perplexing
(surprise). Nonetheless this is the way we are moving; long term survival that
will give all humans 170+ years life extension. Robots can easily be immortal
by replacing parts. We hate pain because we hate death, that's all. Pleasure
leads to survival, and survival leads to more pleasure hence more survival.

Nobody is left out. Most want to survive. Evolution needs many soldier ants in
case many fail. But what if we wanted to kill some people and recreate them to
transport them somewhere? There's nothing to fear now. The swarm will survive
and you come back too, and grow bigger. It's just change, like bending,
blinking, eating, adding memories, losing memory, replacing arms, replacing
dead skin cells, heat, air. We already die every moment. Simply the machine is
saying it's OK. Ya, sure, OK. Our desire is a certain outcome, all change is
death and birth. So there's no way to change your thinking on suicide but when
we program robots we can make it happen. After all physics is what does happen,
it will and we can't change the law, so it must be right and we are happy to
follow it. We aren't lucky to have these physics, no matter the physics we
would be happy/lucky to get what we get because we must and all is particles n
matter the physics. Yes we talk about physics and encodings/models of the world
and yes maybe this is the only way physics is/can be but it's all still just
particles following laws. All matter makes decisions using surrounding context,
a river in a lake, a straw in your soda popping or moving all on its own, etc.

The layperson sees the vision from their eyes and thinks wow I actually can see
my room etc as if I'm actually in it! No, you are processing it at the back of
your brain. The whole body is a machine. There's no way to test if there is a
ghost created from a machine doing something, it's just the cave men thinking
it because of a reason to explain the human body which they don't understand
and also a way to have a reason to live and not be a recycled machine. In
reality you are only useful to others if you are or, if you protect yourself.
Rocks don't.
