If a scientist, or Edison, Wright brother clone, publishes a complete AGI model in a scientific review, paper, His model will be absorbed by big business. Then the big guy will come out with model that will have a few line of code changed and then say "We have done it!". There no protection for grass root innovators. Which will slow the arrival of AGI quite a bit!
