The reason it's not you is because you have the illusions of consciousness, qualia, and free will, just like everyone else. These illusions convince you that there is more to you than the arrangement of your atoms, something that makes your clone but not you a philosophical zombie. We know that consciousness, qualia, and free will are illusions because there are no objective definitions for any of them. There can't be because a zombie is defined as being exactly like a human by any test and is only different in that it lacks these things.
That’s my point, there is no physical way to do an instant lossless copy there will always be loss thus a different K complexity. We can try to fit the universe to the theory and say a perfect copy is possible but the universe must fit the theory. Can we really represent human beings as strings or are we quantum analog probabilistic waveforms that are non-copyable. And an imperfect snapshot may turn immediately to mush… Perhaps a copy is possible as an instant full bifurcation into another multiverse instance but then you’re over there not here.. though there may be a way to reinjected into this universe. Or perhaps take an analog waveform and generatively focus into matter a dupe waveform but the signal would be enormous… like some sort of parallaxed mirror dupe… but still lossy... I suspect human K complexity is larger than most people realize. It may need to contain information such as the position of the stars and the weather patterns while you grew up as a child.
