Mike,

No problem, invariant representations can be endlessly diversified. Really,
endlessly. Keep going, you are not there yet.

Subject: [agi] Not an invariant representation but....

What is needed, when you think about it, is not an "invariant
representation"...

that's simplistic thinking, if the natural first step...

what is needed is a "diversifiable representation"

a representation that can be endlessly diversified...

the objects of the world can be - and are - endlessly diversified

chairs endlessly and radically and unpredictably change form

cars endlessly change form

houses endlessly change and diversify form... think of the recent fluid
architecture

maths and logic endlessly change and diversify form - no common patterns or
invariant representations behind their ever new branches...
topology..Riemannian geometry... sets...freeform geometry...

if you can endlessly redraw a face or any object, so can/does the brain
