It's not intelligent. It's a lage collection of independent, hand-coded algorithms for handling different types of input and calculating different types of output. If you stumble across a new term or combination of terms, you're out of luck until they hand-code a handler for that case. In other words, there is no learning and limited generalization. But it's nice to see someone taking a different approach and actually trying to perform computations rather than just search & presentation.
