Religion may be an efficient paradigm for an AGI to use in navigating the world. Ascribing causal events to an imperceptible deity may be an efficient mechanism for devising a simple and coherent model of the world, given volumes of somato-sensory data and its derivable conceptual implications. -- Thot of the day. ~PM
