Wait hold on there huh? What's wrong with Intel based machines? They're so very

Perhaps Fortran code could improve rendering times since much of it is done on 
GPU?

Resurrecting an antiquated language like COBOL, I don't know there are other 
things involved. Programming languages are like fashion they go out of style... 
but fashions do go in cycles...
