It's funny in a way because you are implying that some of the most
brilliant minds out there are blogging about "BULLSHIT" while your
argument is just plain stupid. Even if you don't agree with anything Ben
and many others write about you should understand that there does not
have to be an interface between x and a superset of X. You should
understand that you can create an object within a virtual environment
without any methods capable of interacting with the host.
If I give you access to a VMWare instance or some AWS instance you can
not derive the operating system of the host while the host has all the
information about the virtual machine. Consciousness is the host. Your
oscilloscope is an object within the virtual machine. You are using your
virtual eyes to look at its readings. You can shift your consciousness
away from identifying with your body and eyes and enjoy the full access
to the very data that is rendered as your oscilloscope on the host
system. Yet, your oscilloscope will never be able to tell you anything
about the host system, all the date that's stored there, etc. ...
Don't meditate ... don't agree with anything I write ... but don't say
"Can it be measured? If not, then it's BULLSHIT!!!!". I assume that you
have worked with many different visualization technologies or
encapsulation in software engineering ... so you should know better ...
