Well I dunno... A typical Zen master would have insights into different aspects than the folks you mention... But my experience with Zen masters (and I know a few here in China) is that they are not especially insightful about the things that don't strike them as important.... If you ask about AGI, they will redirect attention to your own mind and life and the immediate world around you and "why do you care about AGI and all these ideas, just focus on the immediate existence" etc. .... They tend to view obsession with stuff like AGI as a psychopathology and an instance of preoccupation with illusion and not focusing on the suchness of reality etc. etc. .... There is value to this perspective.
