As with consciousness in IIT one could also say that "intelligence is everywhere" or Energy is everywhere or Being is everywhere or Destiny is everywhere or Everything is everywhere or... Nothing is everywhere or Nothing is nowhere (or) Everything is (everywhere or nowhere) Everything is () Every thing is ( ) Words are the chains which bound my thoughts. Thoughts are the chains which bound my words. Thought words are word thoughts are thoughtly words being wordly thoughts. (A tribute to my friend Bob Grumman who passed before I got to know him better. Still trying to retrieve his blog data... please people especially you older folks who have written much during your lifetime think of what happens to the material posthumously.) ... So then IMO symbolistic expression space regulates communication complexity. Everything is separated ethereally by the autonomous computational complexity in emergence pressures of symbolistic communication expression efficiency within systems. Consciousness creation pressures then would be similar, would be throttled similarly. Consciousness intensity patterns could be harmonic plateaus following symbolistic communication gradient thresholds bound within this atomically structured world. What does this mean? In order to achieve higher levels of consciousness you need to disengaged your thoughts, or an AGI's thoughts from the boundaries of a language's symbolistic expression space and find new ones to transmit in. Or find other ways to alter transmission limits... thereby opening up the flood gates.
