I don't want to repeat a big debate about public policy for
safe AGI, but my general attitude is that people are safest
when the public is educated and in control.

As a microcosm of this, when I first started making my
visualization systems open source I did have some worries
about how others might abuse that. No abuse ever happened,
but I was surprised by the extent of good consequences.
