There is one other thing that I have been bellyaching to Google about for some time. GT takes absolutely no cognisence of grammar. Genders are all over the place.
*Le* magasin .. *Elle* a été fondu (note no "e" at end) par... This is more fundamental than you might think. Kurtzweil has spoken of GT as being AI. It isn't AI would deduce grammatical rules from bilingual text, something GT cannot do. This as I said may be more fundamental than we realise. People talk about minimum sets.
