I am not sure I can understand your question correctly - so I'll try to 
answer what I think might help you.

First to the sql-statement: This is not actually computed by sql alone, 
but a combination of multiple sql queries and some python code - but you 
can look it up in the egg as it includes the source. I am not sure that 
this will really help you though, so on to the next questions:

 From the screen shot you sent a few mails earlier it looks like you 
started your sprint with a few tasks, and added more later (the 'Actual 
burndown' is going up).

The trendline is simple an extrapolation of the running average of the 
last two days in the burndown - so if you add tasks to a sprint, the 
extrapolation is that if you keep doing that, you will never finish the 
work planned for the sprint.
