Firefox hits this error as well. Usually Firefox is better in error presentation but looks like you're a bit unlucky with regard to that...
So yes, I think this multi-parent problem is the cause in your case. As as immediate workaround you can avoid linking a ticket to multiple parents (e.g. task to multiple stories).
