Right - I have thought about not linking multiple parents, but
unfortunately someone else entered a lot of this data and to clean it up
now would be prohibitively expensive because of all the linking they
did. The problem is that it appears to manifest itself for any ticket
even tickets that are not associated with the sprint including closed
tickets so I would have to clean up all tickets that we have ever
created.

Firefox hits this error as well. Usually Firefox is better in error
presentation but looks like you're a bit unlucky with regard to that...

So yes, I think this multi-parent problem is the cause in your case. As
as immediate workaround you can avoid linking a ticket to multiple
parents (e.g. task to multiple stories).
