This is stupid. You've defined a perfectly ordinary currency (well, except for apparently being infinitely divisible), and you're just describing amounts of it on a logarithmic scale. You can use that notation with any currency. "Np" is actually the correct metric symbol for the neper, a unit of ratio. 1 Np describes a ratio of e. If you want to use base 10, that'd be the bel (symbol "B"). I track my investments by drawing graphs that show their growth rate in nepers per annum. -zefram
