Thanks for this.  I think it may be a problem with the webserver at my
ISP, as it tries to return the files as text.  Have you tried doing

wget
http://tylee.f2s.com/agrip/audioquake/AudioQuake-0.3.0beta5_linux-x86.run

(possibly specifying a proxy server, if you need to, with the -Phttp://server:port/ option?

I'm going to put the code for all the new stuff into our Subversion repository soon, so you will hopefully be able to build it yourself in a short while. In fact, it would be very helpful to have that kind of input (what it's like building it on a ``clean'' system). I've tied to put in as much error-checking as possible but may not have accounted for some common situations the build system may encounter.

I have to go now; got a two-day research workshop, but I will try to sort these downloads and incorporate the new build system ASAP.

Still looking for volunteers (if any of you have the right software) to try compiling the Windows binaries!
