BRs, Richard,
When I worked for Fel-Pro in the 80's retorqing was going out of fashion, since most shops didn't didn't do it. If you have torque to yield bolts dont retorqe otherwise retorque cold.

A quick, serious question, non-Alfa. I'm replacing the head gasket on my other car, a Mitsubishi Mirage, and I've forgotten the typical rules of thumb for retorquing. Should I retorque the head with the engine hot, or after it cools back down? I remember that on my GTV6, Fred D. recommended bringing the engine up to temp and then retorquing hot. What do you guys do?
