I hear that brake seals tend to flex most of the time, and only slide
up the piston for longer movements. The classic way of resetting where
the seals are sticking and flexing is to push the piston in and pump
it back out. Hopefully so that they stick closer to where you want.
I would remove the caliper from the disk and use a screwdriver between
the brake pads to push the pistons back in, and refit the caliper.
Do this to all four and then pump the pistons back out using the brake
pedal. If you're lucky it will leave the pads sitting closer to
the disks. The good news is it's relatively easy and quick to do.
