In tough cases, I usually find that bleeding the old fashioned way, with somebody on the pedal, as opposed to using whatever brake bleeding gizmo you happen to have lying around, works best. Furthest wheel first. If it has a pedal, then drive it a little, if the pads are new they might need bedding. Also, using the pedal a bit will help concentrate any air that might be in the system, as will heating things up. So drive it if you can, get it up to temperature, apply the brakes a bunch of times, then let it cool down and bleed it again. bs -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
