Ah! Here's the rub. I have about a dozen books on the history of Alfa Romeo. It's about split 50/50 that TZ either means "Tubolare Zagato" or "Turismo (Touring) Zagato". The TZ3, having no tubes, sorta slants that answer toward Turismo, methinks.
