I agree with Ira, the problem is probably between the head bolts and the head. Try squirting some Liquid Wrench down the bolts, let it sit for a while.
Once you do get it to budge, jack it up a little, then let it back down to clean out around the head bolts. You should get it a little higher each time. We made a plate puller and used wood and hammer. it is out of the car. we may try the rope in the chamber from Braden's book, but would have to use an impact wrench on the crank pulley nut to get the compression.
