No brainer, the 3.0!

For an old how to check out here:
http://alfagtv6.com/msdocs/3L_update_Conversion.doc

Also it won't be exactly the same but you can check out my 164 3.0 into a Verde web site:
http://www.alfamilano.com/verde_rebuild/finishingup.htm

Also check on the Alfabb I think there is a fair amount on this topic there.

I've driven a GTV6 with a 3.0 and I've had a Verde for years. Just got a GTV6 with a 2.5 in it and while the engine is nice and revs quicker I really miss the punch of the 3.0. I'll be dropping one in my GTV6 hopefully this winter...

I just had one of those Neanderthal, slap the forehead moments. It is time
to ask your collective opinions: What would you do? I have a 2.5 motor apart
and nearly ready to go back together for a GTV6. I also have a good 3.0 from
a 164 on an engine stand, basically ready to drop into a car. Which one
would you stick into the GTV6? How much needs to be changed out for a 164
motor to 'drop' in to a GTV6?

Meanwhile, back to putting the Spider together while I await your answers.

Ciao,
