sounds like a really bad bussines man.as is i wouldnt be put off by the fact
that he may refuse to do your work.if you feel that way he could push the work
off forever.he may have your car but he's not upholding a minimum of
service.sounds like a prima donna.i would look into alternative mechanical
service.sometimes places that deal with volvos or saabs are not afraid to
tackle alfas also.find a place that agrees to do it and then you could
threaten to remove your car and after its removed if it comes to that hit him
with a small claims suit for the towing and a bit more.don't tell him about
the lawsuit till the car is in your posession.what was the problem with the
car anyway.till i retired i had a garage for years in ny and i found more then
95% of the other garages we dealt with to be honest.this putting off thing is
crazy stuff.its negligent.of course i can't judge being i don't know what you
agreed with him before the towing of your car to him.

Thanks, good idea, before actually asking any of my lawyer friends i could
mention that i'm thinking about it.
One of the problems is that telling him how annoyed i am getting about the
situation will probably make it
even less likely that he'l have any interest in finnishing the project, though
last week i said that i wanted
a real estimate of the time - tired of the next week crap, & how much it's
costing. haven't heard back.
